if i apply the lemon juice on the parts were my acne is and if it like touches the skin around it will it lighten my skin also cus i dont want my skin to have white spots around it.
Answer:
Ouch! i think the acid in lemon juice would make sore pimples really sting! A more effective treatment might be honey: this is also antibacterial (thanks to the high sugar content and presence of hydrogen peroxide) but is much more gentle and leaves your skin feeling smooth and soft. It also has a GENTLE lightening effect (great for red pimples and scars) which is again due to the peroxide and again makes your skin look more blemish-free.
Ingredients = -sugar-water-lemon juice
-1/2 sliced tomato
-baking soda-water
Instructions = *This is more of 4 step-process.It DEFINATELY DEEP cleanses,smoothes,and clears up my skin and i suggest it not for everyday use..kind of like when all else fails face tonic remedy.
1st~ add a handful of sugar,1tsp lemon juice and enough water to make a paste and massage onto face;when done rinse off with warm water.
2nd~ take 1/2 of tomato,cover entire face with it and leave juice on for about a minute and rinse with COld water.
3rd~ take 2 tbsp baking soda n mix with small amount of water to make paste and apply.leave on 4 15 min n rinse off with COLD water.don't do the tomato if you have sensitive skin.it tends to sting-though i have sensitive skin..and the slight stinging only means its working(how?..tomatoes clean skin by its acidity by loosening pores with agitation and cleaning them out.sugar scrubs off dead skin lemon juice helps and we all know about baking soda
PS-this does dry skin out so i imediately put either a THIN layer of oil free face lotion with no fragrance or a THIn layer of acne medication that moisturizes (Clearasil)
I do not think it will lighten your skin. You should try placing cucumbers on your faces--its great for blackheads and pimples. Also be sure to wash your face morning and night with a mild soap/cleanser. Check out http://www.realhomeremedies.com... for more acne tips.
try raw honey :)
